SITECH Chesapeake, part of the Alban CAT family and authorized dealer for Trimble Heavy & Civil Construction products and services, is currently accepting applications for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk (part-time).
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk (part-time) verifies incoming shipments of parts being received and/or shipped in accordance with bills of lading, orders, or other records is accurate, pack/unpack materials, examine for damage and stock in specified location. Compare incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists and picklists, sales orders or other similar documentation and ensure the accuracy of the materials. Determine best method for packing materials for shipment. Package the materials for the assigned pick list. Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged materials. Update inventory system regarding incoming/outgoing shipments. Determine storage location for new parts in inventory. Update inventory systems with storage location information for new inventory. Maintains a clean work area, follows prescribed safety regulations, and safely drives a service vehicle.
Minimum of one year of shipping/receiving experience. Must have good organizational skills and proficiency with MS Office applications. Must have a valid driver’s license.
